Partner Profile

Jimy is a Partner and founder of DEAL KAPITAL. He has experience over 10 years as financial auditor and financial advisor. Before established the firm, Jimy worked in a Big Four Firm more than 6 years, then he set up Jimy Abadi Public Accounting Firm started in mid of 2018.

During his career in a Big Four Firm, Jimy experienced to manage assurance, non- assurance, and advisory engagement for multinational and local companies in various industries. He involved in numerous significant projects of the firm and help several conglomerations from Japan and Korea for doing business acquisition.

He also assisted government in managing process to establish Financial Holding Company in Indonesia. In mid of 2018, Jimy led his own public accounting firm and support some private businesses and Japanese client currently.

He managed various engagements in his firm such as financial audit, review engagement under ISRE 2400, audit investigation, internal control review, design internal control, financial due diligence to support the acquisition, financial feasibility study for factory expansion, management accountant support, sell-side advisory, business valuation, etc.

The Notable Engagements in
During His Career

01	Audit engagement for one of the largest group companies in Indonesia in 2014, with the most complex accounting issues and wide-ranging group structure (>100 companies).
02	Audit engagement for one of the largest plantation companies in Indonesia, member of Malaysian largest plantation group in 2015.
03	Acted as a Project Management Officer to manage the process of Financial Holding Company establishment for Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise (“MSOE”). Jimy dealt in a lot of complex situation with the top-level management and also some financial regulators such as Indonesian Central Bank, Indonesia Financial Service Authority, Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation and Directorate General of State Asset Management.
04	Managed IPO preparation of a Sharia Bank which covered business review, indicative valuation and investment thesis with fundraising amounting to Rp 1.3 trillion.
05	Conducted financial due diligence and operational due diligence for one of the largest national bank in Indonesia to acquire a local bank in South East Asia region.
06	Conducted indicative market valuation of one of the largest fintech in Indonesia for Japanese conglomeration investment purposes.
07	He also helped several Korea and Japanese conglomerations for acquiring some local companies in Indonesia (more than USD 100 million valuation).
